Chaserr is a personal project run on a private server. These terms are short because the service is small and the honest version fits.
What you can expect
The catalogue, prices and scanning are provided as they are, with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy or continued existence. Prices are gathered from public sources and are estimates — they are not appraisals, and nothing here is financial advice. Do not make a purchase decision you cannot afford to be wrong about on the strength of a number on this site.
Your collection is yours
You keep ownership of everything you enter. Ask and you get an export; ask and it is deleted. It is not sold, licensed or used to train anything.
What is asked of you
- One account per person, and do not share it.
- Do not attempt to scrape the catalogue wholesale — much of it is assembled from sources with their own terms, and passing it on in bulk would breach them on their behalf.
- Do not use the scanner to break another site's rules.
Card data and images
Card names, images and prices come from third parties, each retaining their own rights: TCGplayer data via TCGCSV, listing photographs from eBay, checklists and listing prices from Sportlots, and others. Card artwork remains the property of its publisher. Chaserr claims none of it and presents it for identification and valuation only.
Ending it
You can stop using the service at any time and ask for your data to be removed. The service may itself stop at any time — it is one server in one house. If that ever becomes likely, there will be notice and an export.
